Boohle – My parents wanted me to do gospel music

Boohle

Boohle opens up about her music career and life during a recent interview on Slikour.

The South African vocalist opens up on how her parents wanted her to do gospel music, and how she later gained their support.

The singer said her consistency and hard work proved her right on the path she chose to go and it earned her their support.

“Just work hard and you are responsible for making them understand and believe in your dream. Work hard enough so they do believe and understand.”

“My parents always wanted me to go to gospel, that could have been ideal for all of them, church, parents  … I made them look at it as music, as a craft; that this is what I like doing. So work hard enough to make them proud,” she said.
