Early life of Trevor Dongo
In a household of six, Dongo is the firstborn child. In a family of six kids, he is the only boy. He was raised in Highfield, a neighborhood of Harare.

Music Career of Trevor Dongo
Dongo first began to compose music in school. He was doing it at the time as a pastime and had no idea that it would turn into his full-time job. His enthusiasm grew, and he eventually started recording demos. He made the decision to pursue a career in singing while still in college, but he did both at once since he had some reservations.
Dongo released his debut album, “Ndozviita Sei,” after finishing his art education. Since the album was a commercial success, he hasn’t turned back. He then released “Ruvarashe,” his second composition, in 2010. His album “First Verse,” which featured popular songs like “Musikana wangu” and “Ndashamisika,” was released.
He joined forces with Nox and Tawanda Mugodi in 2007 to form the group AfroUnik, which put out the album Uniqueness and featured the gospel song Musipo, which received a lot of radio play.
Trevor Dongo performed at Belgravia Sports Club with Nigerian singer Davido in 2015, and at the HICC with Diamond Platnumz in 2016. The same year, Dongo played at the HICC as part of Jah Cure’s performance.
