Somizi is famous for being a millionaire choreographer in the country. He recently hogged headlines after he showed off his daughter on his Instagram. Mzansi has always known that Somizi has a daughter, but many did not realise she is an academic intellectual and prominent in the entertainment world.

Before Somizi married his now ex-husband Mohale he was once married to Palesa Masisakwane. The two were one of the power couples in Mzansi during their time. The couple had a daughter together, Bahumi. After the birth of their daughter, Somizi and Palesa divorced. Their fallout is not known, but rumour has it that Palesa cheated with millionaire Nico Matlala and she dumped Somizi.

The actress was born in Johanessburg Gauteng Province on 9 February 1995. Although her parents divorced when Bahumi was still a toddler, her parents co-parented her well with love from both parties.

After she matriculated, Bahumi enrolled at the Univesity of Johhanessburg for her Bachelor’s Degree in Law. She graduated in 2019 and pursued another degree in Film Directing and Writing from AFDA.

A career in the entertainment industry

Following her graduation from AFDA, Bahumi made her debut in the entertainment world when she played a role on Keeping Score. She is killing her role as Zola in the telenovela Keeping Scores which airs on SABC2.

Besides being an academic genius and actress, Bahumi is an entrepreneur. She runs a fashion website that caters for unique African prints for girls and women. She is also famous for featuring on her father’s reality television show Living The Dream with Somizi.
