Career of Kabomo Vilakazi
The first song by Kabomo, “Uzobuya,” was released in 2012. Sekusile and All Things Grey both had successful records. A 2014 major role in the Vuzu comedy Check Coast was offered to him after he appeared in a modest role in the soap opera Zabalaza. In addition to appearing in the films Sink and Sober Companion in 2015, he has appeared in a number of well-known television shows like Soul City, Scandal, Thola, Saints & Sinners, Umlilo, Captain Bozaa, and Tshisa.

He wrote popular songs for artists including Tshepo Tshola, Unathi, Aya, Kelly Khumalo, Thiwe, Nothende, Flabba, The Fridge, Flatoe, Pebbles, Zubz, and Dineo Moeketsi, to name a few. He also directed the two feature-length films Droplets and Melody. He also wrote the script for the popular Sepedi SABC1 drama series Skeem Sam. The Droplets film crew then reprimanded him, alleging that he had failed to make payment.
In August 2020, he made a cameo appearance in the comedy movie Seriously Single, which was co-directed by Katleho Ramaphakela and Rethabile Ramaphakela. Netflix released it on July 31, 2020.
