Who really earns more between House of Zwide actor Funani Zwide and Hector on The Queen. No doubt they have been making all sorts of headlines of late with their unmatched talent. Dupped as the golden age of small screens, Mzansi has been more than blessed to have been wowed by celebrated actors Vusi Kunene and Rapulana Seiphemo.
The two celebrated actors are best known for their Generations: The Legacy roles. Vusi Kunene is best remembered as Jack Mabaso. He happens to be a celebrated villain known for wagging wars with the likes of Tau and Gadaffi character played by Vuyo Dabula.
However, they were part of the star-studded cast of Generations but dumped the drama series in the eleventh hour. Rapulana was the first to exit the drama series through arrest.
However, in the backdrop of his exit, she joined The Queen starring the lead role of Hector. He stars alongside some of Mzansi’s finest, the likes of Connie Ferguson, who happens to be her on-screen lover playing the character of Harriet Khoza.
In the wake of his exit rumour, he bowed out of Generation because of his fallout with showrunners after being implicated in an on-set affair. The daring allegations also saw Zitha Langa, played by Zoe Mthiyane, being axed after losing cool and failing to deal with Rapulana’s cheating scandal.
Vusi Kunene pulled a shocker when he revealed that he was leaving the drama series for new projects. However, his exit marked the mass exodus of a starstudded cast. The drama series even felt the effect as viewership patterns slumped, and Gadaffi exit gave a final nail to the drama series as it lost more than one million viewers in the wake of its lead actors cast.

Of interest is that Kunene switched allegiance to Gomora as he starred as Uncle Rodney. From there, he went on to play a lead role on his fashion drama series House Of Zwide as Funani Zwide.
No doubt Mzansi has been wondering how much their showrunners pay them, given that they were one of the most paid actors in Mzansi whilst on Generations. After all, who earns more than the other? On the other hand, Rapulana was lured with a big cheque by The Fergusons to join The Queen. The actor is rumoured to be earning around R130 00 per month. However, one should not that actors salaries are determined by time on scenes, role prominence and experience.
