Jammie was born in England before he moved to South Africa. He furnished his craze of acting with educational qualifications in Speech and Drama with the University Of Capetown. However, he furthered his studies in London in the mix of things.

His illustrious career spanned decades, and he managed to cap it with some accolades. He is one of the celebrated actors who managed to win big regarding SAFTAs. Jammie also wowed Mzansi with his unmatched acting flair when he played a lead role in Long Walk To Freedom.
