The Wife: The death of Mpande Zulu ‘Ishmael Songo’ has fans heart broken

The Wife has been driving social media crazy lately. Since the launch of this Telenovela on Showmax, the drama has continued to build instead of subsiding.

Today it's trending due to beloved characters being killed off. One such character is , played by . Showmax released three new episodes and sent fans into a frenzy.


Mpande was shot to death by his family rivals, also in the taxi business. Mpande had become a fan favourite. His death has had everyone go straight to social media to bid him farewell sharing teary emojis and showing much appreciation to Ishmael for his witty one-liners.


This series is loaded with the story and features some of the country's big names who bring years of acting experience to make this an exciting story to watch.
