Actress, Radio and Television personality Nomalanga Shozi is the host of Behind the Story, one of the biggest shows on BET; she co-hosts the drive time show on Gagasi FM alongside DJ Warras and Clarissa Mfeka.
The former Rhythm City actress, Nomalanga, was born on 12 July 1994 and grew up in a polygamous family of twelve siblings in Port Shepstone. Shozi attended Marburg Secondary School and Rosebank College. Beauty with brains, Nomalanga is a dual degree holder; she graduated in Public Relations and Marketing.

Nomalanga had a brief career in public relations before falling in love with radio representing and acting. Her fruitful career traces to Ugu Youth Radio before moving to Gagasi Youth Station.
In 2016, She made her acting debut on Rhythm City after auditioning against over 5 000 candidates. On Rhythm City, she played Nomalanga, a daughter to mining mogul, struggle veteran and Zolani's girlfriend.
Dining with fame, Shozi went to Las Vegas in the USA to cover the backstage and red carpet of the “BET Soul Train Awards” 2018. In November 2018, BET Africa announced Nomalanga as the new face in their team to host a new show titled BET Breaks.
