Imbewu: The Seed as Nomusa. The actress who has been on the eTV show since 2018 has shown her talent. This has opened doors for her in the entertainment industry. One of these doors is her new role in , announced recently.

The showrunners for  took to Instagram to announce that Gugulethu Mzobe would be joining their star-studded cast. The actress will be taking on the role of Rosemary in the Venda drama series.

How her character will blend in with the existing cast has not been announced yet. Fans of the show are already excited to meet the new character.

Gugulethu takes on the role of Nomusa, a waitress in Imbewu: the seed, and she has been with the show since it debuted. Her role got a lot of screentime when the storyline was on her love storyline with Thu Sheleni. Nomusa went on a quest to win back her man after a workmate snatched him from right under her nose.

However, in real life, Gugulethu Mzobe is a married woman to a photographer Otshepeng Riele who she is frequently posting on her Instagram. The actress made headlines when she announced that they were pregnant, and she is now a proud mother of two. Her real-life love life is the opposite of what she has in the show.

Mzobe is a graduate in Performance Arts from the University of Witswatersrand, where she kicked off her acting career. The actress has been in numerous theatre productions before her Television debut.

These plays include Madam President, Luthuli Musical, How Long, and many more. Gugulethu is also an author who is published and has written a book called Slices of France and South Africa.
