The actress has thirteen years of being a Television actress in the bag and looks like she has no plans of stopping soon. Jo-Anne knew that she wanted to play pretend from a young age while growing up in KwaZulu-Natal. Her interest in acting started to show when she was in Russell High School. After enrolling, she joined Movietech Film and Television School, where she took on a degree in Performing Arts and music.

The actress’s career kicked off when she joined Duma Ndlovu’s play alongside Sindi Dlathu, Mary Twala and Lucy Mthiyane. After that, she was offered the role of Pearl on Muvhango by Duma, who is the creator of Muvhango. The role became her most recognized role that became a breakthrough in her career.

After leaving Muvhango, Jo-Anne appeared in Rhythm City playing Prudence, the office manager. In Intersexions, she played the role of Layla the same year she left Muvhango. Reyneke played many famous soapies like Generations, Scandal, Uzalo, etc. Currently, the actress is making headlines with her performances in The Estate, where she is taking on the role of Lwandle Phakathwayo. She is also has a leading role in the comedy series Black Tax on BET.

Besides being an actress, Jo-Anne has worked as a host at the SAFTA awards. Like many other famous people, she hires out her services as an MC of events like weddings and workshops. Jo-Anne also works as a voice-over artist doing adverts for companies and organizations. She is also a brand ambassador for Mome wellness living and has partnered with other brands over the years.
